History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food he seems plenty friendly. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: Aust hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever he goes.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud.

History: He was born at the edge of vast island. He became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Theren embodies much of what other species detest in the Elves. He takes great pride in his work and is very well organized. His planner is full of calendar events.

History: The child of a Cartwright, who enjoyed hunting, Theren was taken on many hunting expeditions. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He's also a talented Cartwright, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

History: He was born in the north. While he appears to be a normal Elf, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Motivation: To pay off his debts; and he is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally
