History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and expand his business

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. His father was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. Personality: Aelar speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: When he was but 3 years old his parents immigrated from the north. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for him.
