History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his 15th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Berrian alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Heian grew up listening to his father's many stories. Heian was born on a far western desert where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Architect. During his travels, Heian and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Heian discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Heian fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Gardener arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit women.

History: Born in the west to a Gardener, Himo learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. Himo abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.
