When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He swings through moods quickly. One moment he is cool and collected, the next he is carried away by passions. He keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to his own.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Raer was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He always admired divine-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions.

History: He was born in the east. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He's also a talented Roofer, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: Regain custody of his daughter; and he's looking for his big break

Description: A hulking man with gigantic muscles, he is wearing the road beaten gear of a warrior. His brown hair is smooth and relatively long. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines green.

Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: When he was but 3 years old his parents immigrated from the east. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: To unite with his sister; and to reunite with his old friends
