His mother being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train him in monstrous two handed axe use. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. He has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a man enough he will sell his own mother. Money is his most trusted friend.

History: Koeth hails from a village terrorized by illithids. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Koeth was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the illithids.
