Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Thervan's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: He comes from a rich southern family. His father was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Paelias fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
