History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Aelar was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Aelar was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He has never given up on his writing dream.

He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. His father was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.
