Heian liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. The war was a terrible time for him, and Rolen does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: A powerful wizard made him what he is. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Stableman for the past few years.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and balancing his hectic life and new stableman responsibilities is difficult

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: He got into the Carter business at a young age. In his 12th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Adran alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has dedicated himself to building a better world.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Spice Merchant for the past few years.
