History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Personality: He does not care much for physical appearances, nor does he care much for other people. He does however care about what he wants and getting it. He has a habit of throwing himself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Cursed with unlife at a very young age, Thervan has worked very hard to control his curse. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. Being a Miller kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.
