As he has aged he has sought to do reparations for his actions as a youth. He is also making sure that his compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Cursed with vampirism at a very young age, Paelias has worked very hard to control his curse. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: He has decided he is irredeemable; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of illithids may trigger it at times.

History: Varis hails from a village terrorized by illithids. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Weaver work with an outfit from a few towns over. Weaver work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He would ruin relationships and cause injury. He was reprimanded several times before being given his current form and forced to learn humility.

He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Guard for hire.
