However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the drow.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Koeth was a troubled youth. History: His divine talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Elven companion (his 'brother'). He was granted divine powers by his dying brother.
