History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Lucan was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Beggar. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

The illithids captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance.
