Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. A true patriot, Paelias would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Cursed with vampirism at a very young age, Paelias has worked very hard to control his curse. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Many illithids want him driven away.

Personality: Paelias speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: He comes from a rich western family. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes; and money/treasure

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Like his father and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Laborer. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: He is content; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg

Description: He is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright black and blue, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. He carries with him a set of monstrous two handed axes, each one with a ruby on the hilt. He only wears one on his belt and the other on his back. His hair is white and very short. His eyes are gray and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Elf in existence. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: His arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. His mother was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Vanuath fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. Energy wise he seems alert and responsive.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. A freak accident while working with his Sellsword father left him crippled. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: To be a Sellsword again; and he wants revenge against orcs
