His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He would ruin relationships and cause injury. He was reprimanded several times before being given his current form and forced to learn humility.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. After a long history of fighting, Theriatis and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: A deep hatred of goblins; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His childhood dream was to be a Ploughman, but he was a colossal failure. He tends to his Merchant job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: To be a Ploughman again.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He's also a talented Miner, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and marry his brother to traveling adventurers
