History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. Through the years after Thervan was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Thervan's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and he wants random interesting trinkets and junk, hates to throw anything away

Personality: Stoic and calm, he prefers to meditate than take action. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Rolen is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact.
