Motivation: Retire the richest man in the west; and he possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal

Description: He is of a modest build and height, but he carries himself more imposing than he is. He wears brown robes with leather pauldrons. Though occasionally he wears more armor. He prefers to carry a scimitar, but if one is not available he will default to his greatsword. He has a long auburn beard with little hanging trinkets. His eyes are likewise green.

Personality: Deceptive and manipulative this northern guy figured out how to best use his charms to convince people to do what he wants. Around other people he will do his best to conceal his emotions and appear jolly.

History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He would ruin relationships and cause injury. He was reprimanded several times before being given his current form and forced to learn humility.

Motivation: He possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. While he appears to be a normal Elf, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Mercenary responsibilities is difficult.
