History: He was born in a small island village. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He bought a hand crossbow and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and he is a bit of a kleptomaniac

History: When he was but 7 years old his parents immigrated from the south. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and he desires to right it; and someone believes him a fraud

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: Paelias was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.
