He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. Description: This northern man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He typically wears a sleeveless long coat of deep black leather and dull brown iron scale mail. He has wavy blonde hair. He has gleaming, smiling hazel eyes.

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when goblins swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His parents were killed by goblins in a raid when he was still a young child. The goblins captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Peren grew up listening to his mother's many stories. Peren liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Personality: He considers himself the perfect gentleman. He makes a point to always show proper etiquette and frequently critiques the etiquette of others. A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: He was born in a small desert village. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.
