History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. After a long history of fighting, Carrie and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and elven compassion

Personality: He is a Body Guard first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: He possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions

Personality: Deceptive and manipulative this eastern guy figured out how to best use his charms to convince people to do what he wants. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: He got into the Carpenter business at a young age. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and he has money and likes to spend it
