History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his mother. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Fletcher hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He would like to get married and retire.

Personality: He trusts no one. He is not readily capable for forgiveness and his ire never leaves him. Paelias enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Paelias was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His childhood dream was to be a Mason, but he was a colossal failure. He's also a talented Mason, but doesn't like to broadcast it.
