History: Born in the north to a Sailor, Varis learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. Ostracized due to the divine powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Elves became a terror of the countryside. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 14 years.

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. His temper goes off on the smallest of things. He tends to lash out at those around him.

History: He was born in the south. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Detective work with an outfit from a few towns over. Detective work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: He is terrified, and will act out of fear.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Nim embodies much of what other species detest in the Elves. A true patriot, Nim would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: Nim hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. After a long history of fighting, Nim and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and revenge
