History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Paelias grew up listening to his mother's many stories. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. Personality: He is a Tanner first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. The war was a terrible time for him, and Erdan does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Tanner arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He tends to his Tanner job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.
