Through the years after Rael was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Rael's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Rael and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered writing. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Barkeep arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.
