History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: He feels threatened by others; and he is greedy

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his father's willingness to do anything to win. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions.

History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He would ruin relationships and cause injury. He was reprimanded several times before being given his current form and forced to learn humility.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and he has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day
