Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions

History: Gifted from a young age, Theriatis studied abroad. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Paelias was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
