History: Born in the south his family was never financially stable. His mother took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. History: Peren hails from a village terrorized by orcs. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.
