History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Many gnolls want him driven away; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and he desires to right it

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Theriatis grew up listening to his mother's many stories. His childhood dream was to be a Spice Merchant, but he was a colossal failure. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. Some 9 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Naal never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.
