History: He got into the Shepherd business at a young age. He found a children's book about a Elf Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He now owns his own business.

When his mother died while fighting drow, the young Rael began to lead the lost caravan.
