History: Born in the north his family was never financially stable. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Performer hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. Some 6 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Rael never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his father had trained him before.
