Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out.

Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.

History: Varis lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.
