History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and he desires to right it; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge
