The family never returned to the plains due to the painful memories there. Paelias took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up scimitar and armor he uses now. History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
