Upon awakening, Paelias discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Paelias fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.

History: Koeth was raised in a hard working conservative environment. In his 15th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. History: A child with a great deal of poetry talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He has worked as a Miller like his mother before him.
