When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. After a long history of fighting, Lucan and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Aerdeth was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever he goes.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. His first spouse was a Roofer, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. His parents were killed by dire rats in a raid when he was still a young child. The dire rats captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it; and many dire rats want him driven away
