Gennal was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the dire rats.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. Like his father and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Bookbinder. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Bookbinder for hire.

Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.
