History: He comes from a rich southern family. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Berrian grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Berrian. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

He carries his fan with him everywhere and carries himself as the perfect gentleman. Beneath his clothing is a huge mess of scar tissue. His tied-back hair is white. His gray eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his mother. In his 19th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes dire rats are coming to abduct people. He is a great chef.

History: He was raised in a forest tribe. In his 10th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Berrian alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Berrian was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the dire rats.

Motivation: Revenge; and he wants revenge against dire rats

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He can't help but pocket interesting objects he comes across

History: Arannis was born with his mother's beautiful face. He was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform After a long history of fighting, Arannis and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day; and he has decided he is irredeemable

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. Cursed with lycanthropy at a very young age, Ivellios has worked very hard to control his curse. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.
