History: Varis was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to his family’s name. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Ruler hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: Naeris was raised in a hard working conservative environment. After coming to the age of reason, Naeris took it upon himself to study the necromantic arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He's also a talented Ruler, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when orcs swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

History: Arannis was born the youngest of three triplets. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Performer they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Seamstress, and he later adopted a second daughter.
