Description: This northern man is abnormally tall. He is perpetually draped in fineries, but all of this concealed by his earthly robes.. His whole body is exceptionally muscular. His long brown hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. His eyes are hazel and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. Varis was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members.
