Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He is greedy.

Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. Around other people he will do his best to conceal his emotions and appear jolly.

History: He was born into a rich family. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. When triggered he is a bloodthirsty maniac, stopping at nothing and killing everything for almost an hour.

History: He was born in a small plains village. He became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and he possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.
