History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Aelar was born on a far northern forest where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Sage. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. Only to laugh say gotcha and shoot double pistol fingers at the fooled target.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job; and wishes to resurrect an old love

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered painting. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature hammer.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent father; and obtaining odd cultural elven artifacts is his passion

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Servant born in the past three hundred years. He plays an instrument quite well.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Servant. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

History: Lucan was raised in a hard working conservative environment. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his father's willingness to do anything to win. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: Further expansion of business; and he is terrified, and will act out of fear
