Aelar was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

As he has aged he has sought to do reparations for his actions as a youth. He is also making sure that his compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.
