History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Raer was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. When Raer reached his early adolescence his Elf father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Cursed with a spirit at a very young age, Heian has worked very hard to control his curse. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Painter they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Cook, and he later adopted a second daughter.
