History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his 15th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Berrian alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs.

History: He got into the Stableman business at a young age. He moved out south to avoid the crime he committed. Being a Stableman kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions

Personality: He is fixated on the number 17. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. He has a habit of throwing himself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Eiravel was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared.
