Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Peren was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. While he appears to be a normal Elf, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Personality: Thervan speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the plains to a summer home near a large cave. He would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the plains due to the painful memories there. Thervan took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up shortspear and armor he uses now. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
