Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. He is very protective of his business, his home, and his spouse. He is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Aelar was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Aelar decided he wanted neither the life of his father nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Elven conditions. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Heian fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He takes great pride in his work and is very well organized. His planner is full of calendar events.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Through the years after Berrian was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Berrian's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Description: This dark-skinned male wears a yellow vest and prefers brown and tan shirts. His boots appear to have been at one point steel toed but are quite worn down. He is tall, broad shouldered and powerfully built. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines amber.

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: Berrian hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by gnolls. Berrian was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the gnolls.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and money/treasure
