History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Eiravel was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Mercenary. History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his father. Through the years after Aelar was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Aelar's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He has achieved small success as a Ruler.
