Description: A man with thick toned arms and a paunchy gut. He wears silk and lounges about seductively. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. His gray eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: His divine talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Varis grew up listening to his mother's many stories. Varis was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Varis decided he wanted neither the life of his mother nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He became a Cartwright soon after.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and obtaining odd cultural elven artifacts is his passion

Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: He comes from a rich southern family. Erdan abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and balancing his hectic life and new farmer responsibilities is difficult
