History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Laucian was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Cursed with a spirit at a very young age, Laucian has worked very hard to control his curse. During his travels, Laucian and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Laucian discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Laucian fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.

History: Born to a Baker, his mother struggled to pay the bills. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He's also a talented Baker, but doesn't like to broadcast it.
