Personality: He is a hateful person. He taunts others and blames them for his problems. He lacks restraint and is impulsive. He jumps in and acts without thinking all too often.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Tanner work with an outfit from a few towns over. Tanner work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Description: An older man who dresses in white turtlenecks beneath a brown coat with black slacks, he is not a threatening figure. He is bald on top and has large blonde tufts of hair around his ears. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He is a bit of a macho man and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.

History: He was raised in a forest tribe. One day when Quarion was young, his mother was sewing while trying to overcome the flu, when suddenly his mother dropped to the ground dead. His mother had died from a severe disease that was unknown to the village doctor. Quarion was heart-stricken from the event, and his father started working long hours to provde for them. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.
