Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Efferil fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes dire rats are coming to abduct people. He will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. He cares deeply for his spouse and does his best to make sure his guests look presentable.

History: Quarion hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. His parents were killed by dire rats in a raid when he was still a young child. The dire rats captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Quarion was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the dire rats.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. Erevan enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Erevan grew up listening to his father's many stories. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.
